First spring road ride?

Nice roads, nice scenery, and as little wet road as possible?

Our first road ride of the year is usually some variation on this ride in southwest Quebec's Chateauguay Valley.

Hello, my name is Jake Bleiberg. I am an independent journalist working on a story about the ongoing conflict over mountain biking on Mount Royal, likely for the Montreal Gazette. I have been going through your blog as part of my initial research, and I'd love to chat with you about the issues.

If you are willing to talk, please send me an email at jakebleiberg@gmail.com. Please excuse my getting in touch out in this way, I did not know how else to reach you.

With regard to the Rockland overpass renovation, it has to be understood that it is not a question of building a new overpass or to enhance it but it is rather to make it more secure. Therefore, the future work will not improve the actual situation, that is the complete absence of a bicycle path.

I am most disappointed and I know that the Mayor of Outremont, Mrs. Marie Cinq-Mars, shares my feelings.

We are currently working to try to resolve this situation (absence of bicycle link between TMR and Outremont)

Best regards,

Philippe Roy
