Parc Mont Royal Olmstead road

We unlocked Old Blue from the bike stand one minute after Saturday afternoon's rain started.

That was about four minutes before Saturday afternoon's heavy rain started.

We threw our jacket and decided to not let a little rain (or, in this case, a lot of rain) interfere with our vacation. (we were not alone).

Our next stop was the top of Olmstead road, which is also the very top of Montreal's little mountain.

The result was good, we achieved a good workout, and we can reveal we had two secret weapons. First was the old cycling shoes, which we don't mind getting wet. Second and even more important is to bring a big smile and a surplus of happiness.

We ended the ride wet and dirty, but we were not cold or miserable. It helps to keep these wet rides short.
