Montreal's sustainable-transportation ranking

How does Montreal rank against other Canadian cities in the important area of sustainable-transportation?

You don't know, do you? Me neither.

Lucky for us the new "Inaugural GreenApple Canada National Sustainable Urban Transportation Report" ranks 27 Canadian cities.

Montreal is number 5.

One interesting item is the % of labour force walking, cycling, or using public transit. Montreal now is 27.2%, and our goal is 36.5%. They are building the bike paths now, so we might make it!

49% of us have cars, the goal is to not increase this. Reducing or stabilizing car use? It is the impossible dream.
